Hello Susan, I don't know where you are located but I've been on the NTL
broadband for about four or five years now, ok yes I have had a few
problems with them but they seem to sort it out quite quickly. As for the
cost of calling the helpline you must be calling the o9 number? I don't do
it this way I just phone the 150 number and pick which option I want from
there. I haven't heard of anyone using the helpline number for a long time,
just do yourself a favour amd give it a try before changing you
ISP.Regards

hi andrew
we have had a lot of trouble with n t l as regards always being closed down for some
reason or other. also the customer services help line can work out very expensive.
any how it will not be within the next couple of weeks as we need some one to help us
set it up, and help is very scarce here so i might have to wait till my daughters
boyfriend comes over from england again and they aren't coming again until the end of
may.
many thanks

Hello Susan, If you are already with NTL then why change? NTL do a
broadband package from £17.99 per month, the speed of this is 1 Meg, I am
only saying this as I thing it is best to stay with the devil you know.

Hi Susan,
PlusNet is indeed very good and cheap. Another good one - the one I am currently with for broadband - is Freedom2Surf (www.freedom2surf.com), which gives me a connection speed of 2.2MBPS for £14.99 monthly and no contract. Customer service has also been reasonable and is not at premium rate. The service has been reliable.
hth,
Norman

hi Colin
yes we do hope to subscribe to broadband hopefully in the near future,
however this
does not solve my present problem so I wonder, do you or any body else on
the list
have any answers?
at the moment we are dial up with n t l, and we pay £15 a month and that gets us 24 7 free internet and £15 free phone calls a month also.
we need to find another internet server if we leave n t l, so if any one knows of any good ones i would much appreciate it if you could let me know. i heard that plus net is quite good. has any one else?
so can any one help us please.
