Joe,

There are two settings you might want to take care of.  You want "Hide
Read Messages" (not checked).  Hit enter on that to toggle its state.
You want "Show All Messages (checked).  Hit enter on that to toggle its
state.  (Both of these are in the View menu, Current Views Submenu,
from the Message list.)

hi all

i would just like to thank you for all your help in this problem, i have
it
sorted out now but i'm sorry to tell you i have another problem, i can
almost hear you say o no!
well it's the old problem that keeps coming back, in my in box while
arrowing down my list of e mails it just keeps saying"top of file bottom
of
file" even though i know there is e mails there. some one mailed me and
told
me to go to alt view and hit space on show all, but it seems to keep
reverting back to hide all.
