Another problem is this. I call it the deadly Dong as in Ding Dong Dell. I for example may have scanned in Kurzweil and changed the format to possibly OR.to and send out to a Email

Then this happens all seems to freeze and I cannot move the system at all and Jaws has loft his voice and I think I can see a triangle in the middleof the screen with a question mark on it.. I think I may have lost the focus and try to back track . I then do the Alt tab or anything I can to get the system moving.. I try to make Jaws speak but no joy.
I think it must be my fault for not closing something correctly but whatever I do in the and I have to do the End task key strokes. you know the ones control and Alt and Delete and then tab to end task. Trebles you cannot hear when you are at the right place to press the Application key ..

Tony Berry the RnIB nice man said it is or couldbe Windows XP not wanting to let in Kurzweil? He said Windows 98 let all in butnow XP is much tougher.

I s this so . He doesnot use Jaws or Kurzweil. One other way out as I donot like to turn off the desk topat the tower is this back track if you can to Kurzweil and then power down as you can from the number pad. As many of you must have experienced this Dong can you make a guess at the cause it is a crash

I assume it is my fault always but it doesoften happen. Any

ideas Dorothy
