Hi Version 9 as mentioned by George is just fine, but I wonder which type of PDF you are dealing with, are they from a single source? Do they have images in them? Many are poorly coded so it is hard to say, however try version 9 I found it fine from day it was launched

Thanks
Dorothy

Hi,

when I open a document in adobe reader 6 why does it join all the words up
into a long unintelligible string? please let me know how I can make the
program display the spaces between words. I am using jaws 8.

thanks,
Husna
