[jaws-uk] accessing radio buttons

hi all
just recently i've tried to complete a couple of on line questionnaires
which i'm sure have radio buttons to select such things as age category etc
but jaws seems to be missing them. i am using version 8, has anyone else
had this problem and is there any way around it??
