hi,
turning the reading pane off did not help in getting jaws to announce the
subject and dates when highlighting. can any one think of any thing else?

Hi Husna,
If you turn off the reading pane, that should fix the problem.
If you're not using the jaws virtual ribbon, then you can open the reading
pane menu by pressing the following keys: alt, v, l, r.
Then, on the menu, choose off.
There's a jaws guide to windows live mail 2011, and in the customizing
section, turning of the reading pane, and calendar pane are described. The

i have just bought a new computer which comes with windows 7. i have a

with windows live mail which i hope some one can answer. when i used to high
light messages in outlook express jaws would read out the senderâ??s name,
subject and date of the message. however, in WLM jaws 13 does not read the
subject or date when i highlight messages with shift up/down cursor. is
