Is it just due to heavier and heavier traffic? I'd suggest you just try it in the morning, when the Yanks are asleep, to see if it's any better. If so, then you know your system is not at fault in itself. -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Paul Roberts Sent: 15 January 2014 00:28 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Youtube query Hi all, Using JAWS 12 with IE8, which I only managed to upgrade to the other day. I am a regular user of Youtube, however, of late, I have found Youtube to be running slower and slower and tonight, I found it was just not playing ball. whilst I managed to play the various videos and audio I wanted to listen to, I noticed that once a page had loaded, JAWS sometimes kept repeatedly saying 100 per cent, as though the page was trying to refresh, almost every few seconds. This as you can imagine was rather annoying indeed. Also, when selecting a linnk via the links list dialog box, I found that I wasn't always taken to the link I wanted and this hapend on sevearl occasions during the evening. Also, when wanting to left arrow back to the previous page, I found it took me a good few goes before I got to the previous page. Just wondering if Youtube has changed in recent weeks and also, is it possible for me to do anything to make it a little more JAWS friendly. When I started using youtube regularly back in 2008, I hardly had any difficulty with it. Any tips you may have would be very much appreciated. Thanks for reading.
