Hi it is the same with Word 2002, it seems things only get better from 2003, don't you recall William Burton was going to have a play around some time? Dorothy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ken Reid" <ken.reid@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

This is most noticeable when I select "Save As". It says the file name is blank, but I know there is a name in the box. This is particularly tricky if I want to edit the existing name, eg to create version 2 of the same file.
Also noticed the same problem in tables, when the number of rows and columns in the tables set up box reads as blank, but these always have some actual value there.
Can anyone suggest what I need to do here? Thanks,Ken
