Hi Joan,
Alt+M followed by E certainly works for me with Office 2007 so it should
work for Office 2010 also. It did take a wee hesitation before saying
anything.

Thanks very much, Keith.
I still didn't get to envelopes after alt +m and then e. Eventually tried
"Create" and got the envelopes button there. I'm quite willing to believe
that next time I'll have to find it in some other way. The options shift
about so much really.
Anyway, at least I know now to go to mailings.
Thanks again. Saved me throwing the computer out of the window!

Envelopes and Labels in Word 2010 are now on the Mailings ribbon (ALT + M).
Press the E key for Envelopes, L key for Labels or S to start the mail
merge.
