[jaws-uk] Windows updates 17/3 causing confusion!

using jaws 10, Vista home premium & IE7.
Received some Windows updates today which is causing me confusion as after
doing updates and on checking programmes afterwards Windows Live mail &
Messenger have disappeared off my programmes listings...
This maywell be due to during update got message during one download that
update for "Windows live essentials", I was asked to download a "Windows
platform application", update stating contained select functions from "Windows
7", . As I wasn't sure Jaws 10 would work with those functions from
"Windows7", didn't click on that button to download that Windows platform
upupdate but on checking Update history seem to have been downloaded anyways?
Sow does Jaws 10 work with "Windows7", and if not has anyone using Jaws 10
downloaded these updates and download that Platform apllication update and it
works for them?
Also can I uninstall those updates and if so would they reappear when I enter
for check for updates? Or would I need to check elsewhere say with Microsoft
to get those downloads to reinstall?
