The Jaws help says that you can change that from the Jaws verbosity
dialog. Don't know if that would switch the typing sound off permanently
though. I remember that there was a shortcut key to switch that sound off at
all times, maybe insert H when on an MSN chat box would give you more
information.

I would love to turn off the typewriter clicking sound I hear when a
contact is typing me a message. I've been into options in tools and I don't
wish to turn any other sounds off. It's just the typewriter sound I'd like
switched off. Please can someone tell me how to do this.
