Hi,
I don't know where you can download a previous messanger on its own. However,
you can download the 2009 live essentials from:
http://explore.live.com/windows-live-essentials-xp
Note that on this page, after the language combo box is set, then a download
now
link becomes available after it. With sighted help, you can just install
messager, but I don't think you can do this using Jaws. Also, you have to
uninstall the 2011 essentials before installing the 2009 version.

Hi all,
Using Jaws 10, IE7 & Vista.
In a recent batch of Windows updates, unwittingly downloaded the above Windows
prog which caused my previous version of Live messenger to disappear.
I am now finding can't read messages from contacts in the chat window in Live
messenger and not sure how to sort it! Have uninstalled and re installed but
still not able to read messages with Jaws cursor as I used to be able to.
If I can't get this to work, anyone know where I can possi safely download a
previous version of messenger as most of the associated progs which are tagged
onto Live essentials are of little use to me...
