Hi all!

Am new to this list and have a catalogue of questions regarding the =
above. I am using JAWS 13 with the latest version of Windows Live =
Messenger. The problem/questions I have are as follows.

1. When writing the abbreviation =E2=80=9Clol=E2=80=9D, this seems to =
translate to a series of numbers but is I think some kind of graphic, as =
when I back space it out, even though it says 5 or 6 numbers, it only =
takes one back space to delete it. The other person in the conversation =
also receives the same thing and not the =E2=80=9Clol=E2=80=9D as =
intended. This also happens if I write .

2. The program seems to be very temperamental and I have no idea if =
this is the case or whether it is JAWS. Often when I go to type my =
conversation input and the first word begins with for example,K, it =
will say =E2=80=9Cno place markers on this page=E2=80=9D or sometimes (I =
can=E2=80=99t remember what letter triggers this but someone will know!) =
=E2=80=9Cthis is the first element on the page=E2=80=9D, and I have to =
escape from the window and return to the main Messenger window and press =
enter on the person=E2=80=99s name again. This happens to the point of =
absolute frustration at times. Or sometimes it says something about =
virtual viewer and =E2=80=9Cpress escape to close this window=E2=80=9D =
before I can type anything further. =20

3. If in a dual conversation, I can only seem to see one conversation =
window and it says (2 conversations) but I can=E2=80=99t seem to switch =
between the 2.

4. I have left this till last but it is actually to me the most =
important question!! Using the save history function. I have checked =
the box to save history in the options menu. I need it for a specific =
purpose, to say it is legal is slight exaggeration but it is for an =
official purpose. I need proof of my conversations. I know they are =
saved in =E2=80=9Cmy received files=E2=80=9D, but when I open it, I =
can=E2=80=99t seem to read anything or access any menus. I should like =
to be able to do this and also is there any way to print off the =
conversations that is accessible to a JAWS user?

I should be so grateful for anyone=E2=80=99s input. Please excuse the =
epic!!!!
