Shirley,An update to my message yesterday - WLM decided to download new messages anyway without me asking it to do so, (even though I have unticked the boxes "Send Receive on startup" and "Check for new messages every x minutes"). If anyone knows how to stop WLM doing its own thing perhaps they'd let me know.
Anyway, so the answer to your question is that yes the messages are going into both OExpress and WLM, but I guess this is because I have my POP messages stored on the server. I think if a copy wasn't kept on the server then only the first email program to download the messages would get them. Am I making sense?

Shirley,It's a good question and I'm not sure of the answer. I have stopped WLM from Sending & Receiving and am still using OExpress to get my latest messages, so WLM just shows the messages up to the day it was installed. I don't know what would happen if I let WLM Send & Receive.... But even so I'd be careful installing WLM as firstly it takes a really long time to download and install. Then it immediately downloads all the accounts and messages from Outlook Express without asking and doesn't tell you what it's doing. Alt + tab doesn't take you to the progress screen, don't know why. I think we should make the gradual move to it, and Notify screen reader vendors that this will be a key program in the future. outlook express is not! and Imean not!!! just gonna die now,and as you have seen, it only effects hotmail users. Plus, there are alternatives, for those Hotmail users.I would recommend that Hotmail users try out windows Live mail. Honestly, it's not that bad.
