I find Windows Mail in Vista works well with Jaws. Then again, I'm sure I don't use all the features in it. Took me a little while to get used to the fact that you don't have separate sets of folders with each account, so I'd send messages to lists from the wrong accounts and get annoying error messages. didn't realize there's a combo box to select account.

Hi Chris and all, I'd have to admit that I don't like WLM at all either. My problem with it is not just so much of a personal preference, but, Jaws still doesn't work with it correctly. This jumping of focus between folder for no apparent reason, Jaws not identifying read from unread messages etc. Jaws just sketchy when it comes to accessing WLM. Believe me, avoiding WLM is the main reason I'm holding back on moving to Vista/Windows 7.Not meaning to highjack this thread, but if anyone can suggest an email client that works well with Jaws I'd be most happy to know of it.Cheers, Amro----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Hallsworth" <christopherh40@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, July 04, 2009 7:06 PM Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: Windows Live MailYou will have little choice though when upgrading to Windows 7. My advice therefore is to try and get used to it, unless of course you don't plan to upgrade soon.-- Chris Hallsworth e-mail: christopherh40@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx MSN: ch9675@xxxxxxxxxxx Skype: chrishallsworth7266 Join TAFN by visiting www.tafn.org.uk.----- Original Message ----- From: "David" <david.tregellas@xxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, July 04, 2009 5:54 PM Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: Windows Live MailDarron,I moved to Windows Live Mail a couple of months ago and really do not like it. Using Jaws 10 BTW.I don't tend to read all the bumf that comes with these updates because it's boring and I can't be bothered. They'll change the goal posts again soon enough. I liked the old Outlook Express it seemed stable and easy. No doubt WLM will improve in time but if you can avoid it I would.Regards David -------------------------------------------------- From: "Darran Ross" <darran.ross@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, July 04, 2009 4:19 PM To: "Jaws-UK" <Jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [jaws-uk] Windows Live MailDue to a problem I'm currently having with Outlook Express, I'm consideringmoving over to this latest update for that e-mail client, and was just wondering how folk have found using it with JAWS? And I can't see any mention of it in the JAWS Help Files.Basically, all I'd like to know is whether or not its as handy to use as OE.Any feedback appreciated.
