I'd like to know more about the manufacturer and model number of the WinRadio card. If it is in fact made by Radixon in Australia, then I do indeed have contact with the guy of owns the company, and who is quite a brilliant electronic design engineer. George. ________________________________ From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Graham Page Sent: 29 September 2010 18:45 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: Windows 7, JAWS 11 & Win Radio. Hi Mark. In that case I'm not sure exactly what the problem is but if George has some ideas then over to him. I've not used the program before. Graham, Apparently, it used to work on his previous setup. Thanks for your advice though. Thanks also to George. Did winradio work ok then with previous applications? If not it might be a java app. Unless it uses java classes that are accessible, in which case he may be able to download the Java Access Bridge, my u derstanding is that there is nothing he can do. If the app was accessible with previous operating systems then maybe it is not windows 7 compatible. Give us a bit more info maybe. I will also try to find it on the web. Greetings, A friend has purchased a new computer this year, on which he has JAWS 11 and Windows 7. He has a programme that allows him to use a radio whereby the frequencies have to be programmed in. Although the correct information apparently appears on the screen, his JAWS misses most of the information, as to the Radio frequency programmed in. He's using Win Radio. He has asked Sight & Sound, and Freedom Sientiphic but they can't seem to come up with a suitable solution to the problem. All help much appreciated. Thanks much. Warm regards, Mark.
