Hi
Sorry, misheard/read the email. The best thing to do is to uninstall and
re-install Jaws to start with. If your PC has updated the operating system, it
sometimes wipes some of the registry out making some applications not work
until that are reinstalled. I ran both JAWS 16 and 17 on Windows 10 but
upgraded to 18 before the last big Windows update so Iâm not really sure.
The only issues at that time were with the Windows Mail and Windows Edge
application. Jaws should still work with that version but with some limited
capability.
Regards
Jonathan

Subject: [jaws-uk] Windows 10 Update stopped JAWS working
Hi everyone,
Without my knowledge, Windows 10 began to update last night and I
couldn't stop it. Since updating my version of JAWS is not working. I
use JAWS 16 on a dongle with a serial number and although JAWS begins on
computer start up, it comes up with the message to restart the computer
to run in 40 minute demo mode. I have tried this out of interest but it
just comes up with the same message and doesn't run JAWS at all. Does
anyone have any idea what I can do?
Many thanks,
Veronica
