[jaws-uk] Typing echo

Hi all.
I have just changed to Jaws 6.2 and have had to configure it to behave as I
want it to, but cannot find out how to set it up to echo words when I type. I
can set it by using Insert and figure 2 but this,of course, goes back to
character each time I start a new application.
I am using Windows XP and Service Pack 2.
Any help greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
