Mark,

Sounds like you've just taken jaws out the box and expected it to work to your own personal spec.....

You should take a look at the basic training files on your CD, but meantime, open your jaws window from the desktop icon or insert + J

Right arrow on options to basics.... and enter.

I'll leave you to look around there and realise what you can do to configure your screen reader to operate via your own preferences. You've also got a considerable amount of info in the help menu system.

Cheers, Robin

Subject: [jaws-uk] Turning Off JAWS Instructions.

Greetings,

How do I turn off instructions that frequently appear in JAWS?

I know how to up and down arrow, and don't need to be reminded all the time.

Thanks much in advance, for any help.

Regards,

Mark.
