Try going into the bluetooth software itself, and searching for devices. You
may find this works. Failing that, you will need to install the nokia
software. You must have an application called mrouter running in the system
tray.

Thanks David.
Strangely enough though this is even before installing PC Suite...just trying to negotiate the Bluetooth software interface itself. I'm not able to search for devices, or open Bluetooth ports on those already pared etc. Maybe I should try letting PC Suite take care of it?
The annoying thing is I had it all up and running a couple of months ago, but was forced to re-format due to needing a replacement Motherboard and processor.
Cheers,
Mark

I am sorry that I cannot help you with your current plight, but I can confirm that I have had problems establishing communication as you describe as a couple of icons in the Nokia software cannot be seen by JAWS.
You can more easily check to see if the Bluetooth connection is running by looking at the 6600. Connectivity Bluetooth paired devices
I know that some V.I. people have managed to get it working but I have reverted to using the infrared connection.

Hi list, WINDOWS SP2, JFW 4.51.
As the subject implies, I'm having problems in accessing Bluetooth. I can see the icon in the Sys tray, but when I right click it the only options I have is 'Start using Bluetooth, and 'Bluetooth device not found. Well, the latter isn't an option I guess *Smile*.
The guy who set it up for me yesterday appeared to pare the PC up with my Nokia 6600 okay, but now I can't seem to access it to connect.
Also selecting 'My Bluetooth places on the ''Start menu just seems to land me on the start button, which sort of suggests to me its already running somehow.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Mark
