with my experience in satalite pros, i don't think there will be any issues.
i've had a couple in the past, though now prefer the netbook.

Unfortunately there is no such thing as a standard battery for the Toshiba
Tecras. Hopefully when you do find the model you might want to consider
using these people. I have noticed number of replacement battery online
shops seem to be multiples of the same company with different sites often
with no accessible contact details like a proper trading address or trading
addresses outside the UK. I have used these guys and they seem OK.

Usually somewhere on the bottom of the unit there is a panel with this
information on, you will also have a serial number which may be helpful for
Toshiba if they are who you may be calling.
