Hi I have Emailed you off list try that suggestion put hands free phone in front and follow sons instructions, but at the start of Avg you have Help start with reading that, by the way if you want to try another Anti-virus I see last year after the Trojan I was sent details and a link to something called Avast but you will still have to read it and follow instructions, anyway whilst you are waiting for son to talk you through do a full system scan you can choose it in Tools after that you will feel safer to read the Help quietly. derek needs a bit of encouragement or bribing!

Derek is not overly skilled on the computer!...Like a lot of sighted
people, he just aims the mouse at what he wants to do!...

He knows nothing of Windows key strokes.

incidentally, I do use a full size keyboard when based in my office.

What do you mean not got a mouse? in any case he is very skilled and if
you simply plug in a full keyboard as I do with my laptop he will be able
to move around it  with more ease. If all else fails read it all and try
fixing yourself with the  normal full keyboard the only strokes he needs
in any case are Windows keystrokes truly Dorothy

You are welcome I would ask your son or husband initially to set it up
and then as you use it you will get the hang of it, there are advanced
settings in this one and Spam blocking and I a lot to read, I would
decide how often you want to scan mine is set for 7 each evening on the
dot. You may want to decide to do it manually by going into Tools, but
ask family for help at start, the engineer who did mine was repairing
Windows so he set it up for me himself.
