Hi Rashmi,Did you set JFW to run from system tray? if not find JAWS on the taskbar and press alt to open the menu, then locate the utilities submenu and you will find it there.

This does not, of course, mean that the helper won't wish to levy a chargefor their services.Eric Damery does mention in the netcasts, that they are considering making a certain amount of time free for occasional use by friends to use the serviceeven when the charging comes in to effect but he didn't expand on this. For the moment it is important to know that the helper needs to have anauthorised copy of Jaws 10 and the helped, at least a demo copy of Jaws 10.You can find information about how Tandem is used in the Tandem sub-menu inthe Jaws window which you can reach by pressing JawsKey+j. By-the-way, Voice over is a synthetic speech system built in to theMacintosh computers which use a completely different operating system fromnthe Windows based machines which will run Jaws. Thanks Dorothy.----- Original Message ----- From: "Phil Medway" <philmedway@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, November 28, 2008 5:17 PM Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: Tandem featureThe controller, usually the person providing the assistance, needs to havean authorised copy of Jaws 10. This cannot be a dongle version. The client machine, usually the recipient of the assistance, must have atleast a demo copy of Jaws 10 installed. If the client's copy of Jaws 10 is a demo, it will only run for 40 minutes after which the machine must be rebooted before another 40 minutes of Jaws use.I have found that conducting a Tandem session is much more productive whencombined with a Skype session which allows me to explain to the client what I am doing. I have recently received the following information from Sight and sound:The Freedom Scientific Tandem server is to remain free to use until March9th after which it is thought that an annual charge of from £100 to £120 will be payable by regular controllers of Tandem sessions. I don't think fs havedetermined the fees for this. There was mention though that casual users would be able to use this service for free, I assume that there will be amonthly time limit to how much one would be able to use it. It is also worth remembering that only the person who wants to take control of someone else'scomputer will need to pay, but the person who is receiving help will notneed to pay anything. I know George said distance did not matter for the Tandem feature to be usable, but as I understand it 1 party must be using Jaws professional, the otherneed not? However regarding the fees of the Service can someone enlighten me.
