Abbyy Finereader could be a better bet. You can scan into Microsoft Word with this. The scanners I have at home and work are both HP, not sure of the model numbers. Textbridge is optical character recognition software. It turns a typed document in to an editable word processed document. You can choose the format, but MS Word would be the most popular. This then means that JFW can read the document for you. I don't find Textbridge 100% perfect with JFW, but a bit of intuition is enough to get around. Its accuracy in interpreting a document will depend on the contents eg what font was used, and the use of diagrams, images, boxes, tables and columns in the original ... and of course it cannot scan handwriting in to something comprehensible. Hope this is of some help.
