Hi there Jamie, Steve and all who've replied on this, All very helpful stuff, you can tell it's been a while since I really had to play with tables in MS Word but now I'm working somewhere where every document is table based.. Thanks again, Phil ________________________________ From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jamie Cuthbertson Sent: 13 September 2008 14:15 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: Taking text out of tables in Ms Word 2003 Phil, If you want the text from a single cell, you can simply tab to that cell and then copy and paste the text from the cell. If you want to get more of the text, I tend to use the "Table to text" feature on the Table menu and then select out the text from there. Hope this helps, Jamie -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Philip Stephenson Sent: 11 September 2008 15:34 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Taking text out of tables in Ms Word 2003 Hi, Am wanting to take some text out of a table in Word and I seem to remember in the past there being a Jaws keystroke for this but I can't for the life of me remember what it is! Using Jaws 7 with Word 2003 Yes I've looked in Jaws help but can't seem to find it - or perhaps I'm just missing the proverbial wood for the trees! Many thanks, Phil
