Hi, It's saying this because its telling you you can't edit the message, or at least not until you reply or do something with it. Insert 6 on the top row to open the outlook config file, or open your default one if you want this done globally. Set options, go to speech and sounds manager Tab to edit current scheme and enter Shift tab then right arrow to the Control Type tab Tab to the list view Press the letter R twice to hear read only edit=20 Use up and down arrow to see your options and set it to ignore Save scheme button Save your changes on the way out.
