Hello Ron,

I heard a wee while ago from a reliable source that the only difference between
the standard and professional versions is the price tag.

Hi to All.

Below I have quoted whether we need Standard or Professional version of Jaws to
work with the various Windows packages, but I am a little perplexed as to the
differences in the Standard/Professional Jaws software. After all, you can run
any machine using the 40 minute mode, but can't run Windows XP Professional
using a standard version of Jaws.

I am aware of several differences in the XP professional and Home versions of
Windows, but am seriously wondering why we pay more for a Professional version

Of Jaws that seems to behave exactly the same way as a Standard version.
After all, the Standard and Professional versions of Jaws are all in the same
download.

Can anyone explain? Be Really interested to hear the groups' thoughts, or
learn what I am not understanding here.

Ron

The standard version of JAWS works with the following 32-bit Windows Operating
Systems: Windows VistaT Home Premium, Windows Vista Home Basic, or Windows XP
Home.

The professional version of JAWS works with the following 32-bit Windows
Operating Systems: Windows VistaT Ultimate, Windows Vista Enterprise, Windows
Vista Business, Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Home Basic, Windows
XP Professional, Windows XP Home, Windows 2000, Windows XP Media Center
Edition, and Windows 2003 Server.

Hi folks.

If I'm viewing a web page and switch to another window. When I got back to
ththat ge, the cursor has jumped back to the top of the page instead of
remaining where I left it.

I'm assuming this isn't meant to happen and there's a setting for leaving the
cursor put.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Cheers
Darren
