Ottawa Canada Dear Dorothy and list: One thing you can do to let your spell checker accept proper names and other words that occur frequently in your writing is to place the queried word into your personal spell check dictionary. In MS Outlook 2003 you may do this using the accelerator key alt plus "a" or by tabbing through the available options and pressing the space bar to press that button. Not sure how Outlook Express accomplishes this. Placing the word in your JAWS pronunciation dictionary will unfortunately not appease the spell checker to accept it. Happy spell checking.
