[jaws-uk] Space markers & paragraph markers in Outlook

Hi,
I am a Windows XP user with Jaws 6.
I have a problem when writing e-mails in outlook.
Somehow I have managed to lock on space markers and paragraph markers.
The effect is that Jaws announces these words between each and every word.
Can anyone advice how to fix this frustrating problem.
