Excellent moral support which seems to have largely done the trick; no idea
why.  Seems that arrowing down after pressing the button works.
Alternatively, and being a computer, it possibly noticed me logging out to
come and whine on this list, and decided to do the decent thing.  Either
way, I'm now fully tooled up to be befriended J

Now I just need to learn absolutely everything else about it!

You might find it helpful sometimes when you think nothing has happened to
do a screen refresh (JAWS key + Reset).

Realise much of this was covered recently, but now I have bitten the bullet
and joined FaceBook.  Seems reasonably accessible but a bit eccentric about
when it will and will not recognise me clicking the confirm button to accept
friends.

Any clues anyone?  I remember there were differing views on the site's
accessibility and hoping this is something others of you have solved.

Also, once I have this taped, those of you kind enough to offer to link with
me on MSN or elsewhere, please do whatever competent people do to become
friends with me.
