  Barbara,

I have no problem reading the chat log, perhaps you need to maximize the
screen, if I stay in the typing window I have the situation you described, but
if I tab once I can view the complete chat log.

  Regards,

  Pete H.

I am using JAWS 9, the latest release of Skype and the Skype scripts.

When I am in a Skype chat rather than a voice conversation, I am having
difficulty in reading the message log and wondered if anyone else was having
similar problems. When I tab to the message history view, JAWS will announce
the time and date of the first message and read that message, but that's all.
If I try to use the cursors to read up and down the window, nothing is spoken.
To read the messages I have to use the JAWS cursor, but of course theis doesn't
read everything and often with all the other things it reads only a few lines
of messages is in view and usually the first few lines.

    Any tips?

    Thanks.
