The summary is automatically 'created', so you don't attempt to do that.
Once you've input your criteria, exit the dialog and press
ctrl-insert-down-arrow.

Subject: [jaws-uk] Skim reading etc

Dear All,

XP Home, Jaws 610.

I'd welcome some help please with Skim reading, and creating a summary.

I have a document in Notepad containing the following:

Questions and answers.

Each question line starts with a plus sign, followed immediately by a
letter
Q, then a space, which is then followed by a number, and then a
question.

I wish to skim read so that Jaws reads out each line which contains the
plus
sign and the letter Q,
and I wish to then create a summary which also contains these elements.

I've tried this for myself, but haven't managed to achieve my aims.

Any simple steps to help me would be very much appreciated.

With many thanks.

Best wishes,

Keith
