Hi Catherine,

If you actually want to stop the computer from reporting the message, do the
following:

Go to the control panel;

select network connections and press enter;

locate the wireless connection and press enter;

select properties and press enter;

find and uncheck the item which is named something like "notify me when this
connection has limited or no connectivity";

click ok and that should be that.

Subject: [jaws-uk] Silencing reading of tool tips?

Hello,

I use a wireless network which has frequent drop outs, and every time it
gets connected or disconnected JAWS reads its status, which I think is a
tool tip. This is annoying sometimes, particularly when listening to music.
Can I stop JAWS reading this? Whereabouts is this setting located?
