I much prefer the English voice but this isn't helping us find a solution to
the problem of shutting up Jaws. I too have to wait three or four seconds
for it to shut up when I'm reading using control up or down arrow. I
thought this was supposed to have been fixed in version 5.

After all it's all about preference and what you're used to. I've been
using brittish voice for years and am used to it and prefere it. The best
things is, we have a choice.

The problem seems to me that the British voices sound like bad imitations.
I have often wondered whether Americans feel the same way about their
Eloquence voices.
