Windows, or MSN messenger is a pain in the backside. It gets installed automatically and there is some way of getting rid of it in the Outlook Express menus, but I don't remember how, right now. It is a thing called an instant messager, which should get e-mails sent with it there quicker, and it alerts you when one is received by interrupting whatever you were doing... the problem you or someone elst was having a day or so ago. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dorothy" <user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, April 08, 2006 9:54 PM Subject: [jaws-uk] Sent items a problem Tiddy I have just picked up on desktop where there is no problem and will go and try on laptop. I wonder why thought wouldn't even as bad as it was more than a few and then the down arrow came to a halt. It is this desktop is touch wood behaving well,it has not had any fiddling about and has a clean sheet. so I will wait to do things like stripping Emails and other things after Jaws 7 is here. Incidentally what is Messenger? I didn't invite to become as it must've been activated. Tony said it takes up a lot of memory. this was when I think he wanted to burn to disc as much as possible on the laptop in case I lost that lot as well as the desktop. So he wanted to put all on 2 CD discs. I i imagine that on this desktop it seems to have just about everything like Movie making and things other than Roxio that the other things like DVD would take more on them than a CD I did mention this to TONY buthe said CD is fine why bother, is there anything then that a CD can do that a DVD cannot. I hope DVD is the right word I mean what you save information on.
