Hi there,
I'd check again with someone at sight and sound, I recently transferred a
licence for jaws 6 to someone without them having to upgrade to jaws 7.
They only had to pay the £75 for the transfer.

It's worse than that. The buyer has to pay £75 to transfer the licence and
they have to upgrade to the latest version of jaws. It's supposed to be to
stop people selling their earlier version whilst still using their upgrades,
but it also boosts sales for Freedom Scientific.
