Hi Sharon,

I'd be inclined to ask SIght & Sound on this one, or your local
dealer.

However, I personalkly would be inclinded to set your daugher up as a
separate user anyway. It's far safer in many ways.

George.

George,

I'm using windows 7, jaws 11.

No my daughter doesn't log off or anything, she just switches jaws off
when she uses the computer.

Thanks.

Is your daughter logging on with a different Username and Password?

And what operating system are you using?

If a separate log on, the likelyhood is that you need to go into
Control Panel, Display, and adjust brilliance there. Can't be precise
without knowing op. system.

George.

Subject: [jaws-uk] Screen Brightness with Jaws

Hi,

First of all, I'm not sure if this is related to Jaws or not, and if
not, I apologise.

When my daughter uses my pc, she has noticed that when jaws is running
my screen is very bright, however if she turns jaws off to use the pc
herself the screen goes very dark, and she can barely read it. She's
tried adjusting it, but cannot seem to get the screen bright again
unless she has jaws on.

She is fully sighted, so doesn't really need or want jaws on if she is
doing her own stuff, smiles.

Can anybody help here.

Thanks.

Sharon
