No Brian it is not my problem it was Jim's I was thinking of course, he seems in a pickle it was just an idea. However and this is an anti-virus matter I may as well try to air. others who are VIPs, Dr Norman on this list for one and a good many on I am told screen reader list have Kaspersky anti-virus, it will not work with Jaws, and Norman and I have to hope for the best and have it set to auto Scan. I did try to explain once I went to the DDA and DRC to ask if it was in this day and age lawful for a screen Reader not to work with Assistive Tech, answer after a long wait was. Nothing can be done because it comes under manufacture Goods and they are not covered by the DDA Act.

another person on this list recalls writing to his MP some years ago and he was told Makers of goods would be afraid to be inventive if they could be sued by the Vip Community However I have taken another approach through the NCC, National Consumer Council but for the moment do not want to say more until I get in an Email from the NCC. Dear Dorothy:

You could try reverting to a previous version of AVG if you still
have the program on your drive or can still download it from
their web site. However if daily updates aren't still available
for that version, you're stuck with a big problem.

Far as I know AVG has not had a change of owners.

What version are you presently running and what problems are you
encountering?
