Hi Marie

Reg scrub has an option to undo last clean so, if things go wrong, which
they never have when I've used it on my machine, you can undo it. Also,
when you do a scan with regscrub, you are given a list of found problems.
You can either select them all or, if you know what's what, you can select
individual ones.

Subject: [jaws-uk] Registery clening

My pc has been behaving eratically for a while, can't pinpoint the problem,
for no apparent reason, it locks up. It takes a long time to boot up. I've
checked what starts at start-up and can't see anything that shouldn't be
there, although quite a lot of stuff that are there I don't know what
aplication they belong to.
I suspect something is wrong in the registry, I downloaded the 2 utilities
provided on the jfwlite page but can't decide which to use, Regscrub or
regclean.
I have nobody here to help if anything goes wrong and the shops don't really
want to help as my system is in English.
Which of these 2 program is totally reversible? if something goes wrong,
will I be able to get at system restore?
Just a little reassurance from people who have used those progs many times
without problems is all I need.

Thanks in advance,

Marie
