Hi Tom,

Sorry for delay, I've been busy over the last couple of days. I haven't
noticed any other replies on this so hopefully I'm not duplicating another
answer.

I think that the keystrokes that are built into Jaws 11 for table reading on
the web are actually pretty good once you get the hang of them. The ones
that I use most are as follows:

Alt+WindowsKey+Up or Down Arrows - move up or down a row in the table and
read the entire row contents.

Alt+Control+Up Down Left or Right Arrows - Move a cell in the arrow
direction and read the contents of the cell you have moved to. When using
this keystroke, as you move across the table left to right or right to left,
it should read out the column headings. Moving up or down should read out
the row headings as well as the cell contents.

There are other keystrokes but see how you get on with these ones for
starters.

Jamie

Tom,

Which version of Jaws are you using as the keystrokes for table reading
changed in Jaws 11.

Not my favourite occupation. I think it's one of these things that sight
really scores on, but, any way. Given different desktop and laptop key
combinations and that 3 or 4 keys are involved in some commands, any
suggestions? Has anybody redefined keys to their own satisfaction?
