I remember something like this coming up some time ago. Try going into the
document, doing JAWS+z to turn off the virtual cursor, selecting the whole
document and pasting it into an empty Word or Notepad file. There's no
guarantee but it might work.

I got this the other day when reading a claim form from Globespan..... say
no more.... it was actually done as a graphic pdf. If you go to the file
menu when you have opened up the pdf you'll find an option to save as a text
file.
Not ideal but then you can either scan it or jaws should read it in notepad.

I know this has been covered before, but can't remember if there was a
solution. I'm trying to read a PDF document but all I get is the message
"Alert, empty page". Printing this file out and scanning it isn't an option
as it is 130 pages long and I have several others to read. So how can I read
the text?
I'm using Windows XP and JAWS 11.
