hi,
not stupid at all,but it is relatively easy if i can remember, open the
jaws file menu and go to synthisiser language sub menu arrow right and
you will find differnt languages british english i think is the first
one you down arrow to ,either way when you find it hit enter on it and
then alt space and arrow to minimise and hit enter it will then speak
in english british english that is unless of course you are useing a
hardware synthisiser and if that is the case then i aint got no idea
lol,hth,
tony

Hi, please ignore this if someone's answered it already but I seem to be
stuck with the American pronunciation of almost everything. Sorry to be
so dense but how do I get to wherever it is the options are for choosing
British English? Realise this is probably dreadfully stuipid question
but hope you will humour me.

Cheers

Amie

Subject: [jaws-uk] Pronunciation dictionary

Hello

Have been trying to get JAWS to pronounce status with the English rather
than US pronunciation without success. Can anybody suggest the right
combination of letters and spaces etc.

I understand how to use the dictionary itself but have not been able to
hit on the right "formula" for this particular word.

Thanks.
