Dear Mark, Thanks again for your reply. I didn't really want to join that group for such a simple request. I seem to have resolved the matter now, with my wife's sighted help. There are evidently controls along the bottom of the screen, and she placed the mouse pointer on each one, I made a note of the position, and then used the Jaws script MoveTo command. This seems to have worked. But, thanks for your help. Mark, if you think I could be of any help to you with scripts, maybe you'd write to me off list. My script knowledge is fairly basic, but I have got scripts to do things for me that I wouldn't have been able to do without them. If you haven't already, another avenue you might wish to take = is the Jawsscripts list hosted on blindprogramming.com. You can fill out = the relevant form at the following location: http://blindprogramming.com/mailman/listinfo/jawsscripts_blindprogramming= .co m As you probably know, once you've found out exactly how to refer to the Applications key, you could pass it to the TypeKey Function, or put it between Curley Brackets. Having an interest in scripting myself, I'd be interested to know any outcome, so perhaps you'd like to contact me at a later date. It was worth a shot, but pressing the right mouse button seems to take me out of the program, and brings up the context = menu whilst on the Desktop. The program I am using is called Power DVD, and is of course used to = play DVD's. I'm not sure how I came by this programme, but by the use of the Context Sensitive Menu Key, the one already outlined, it is quite = usable. Pressing this key brings up a menu containing, play, stop, next section, bookmarks, etc. I can of course simply press this key, and then arrow down to what I = want, but I was hoping to access the menu via keystrokes, such as, for = example, Alt+n for next section. But I don't know what the Context Sensitive Menu key is called. I'm sure = one of our expert scriptwriters, Brian, Tris, for instance, would know.
