Hi Catherine, Phil and all,
It's the same for me as well. All I did was to turn the punctuation down to
'some' in the Keyboard Voice Settings, but you still get every character
echoed when you are moving around with your cursor keys.

Hi again Catherine,

It works the way you describe on my Word 2002 and XP home.

It is possible that I have some other setting at variance from yours which
might be making the difference.

Trying it shouldn't hurt and you can always reverse the setting.

Regards,

Phil Medway.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the suggestion but, as far as I know, this would effect JAWS
reading punctuation all the time in Word; I want to have it read all
punctuation when I cursor around, but not during Say All.
