Caroline,
May well be totally unrelated to your problem, but this is the only ref
to that Intel graphics card number on the FS knowledge base that I could
find. There may even be by now, more recent drivers at the location they
suggest.

The system has an Intel 82845G/GL integrated chipset and is on board a
HP Pavillion system running Windows XP Home. Download and install the
chipset drivers
from the HP website, dated 6/21/02, Version 6.13.1.3162. This solution
was confirmed to fix a problem in JAWS 4.02, however, the solution may
assist with
other JAWS versions as well.

Scott, I'm glad I'm not the only one with the problem where Alt+Tab
doesn't announce the name of the application I've landed on in Jaws 6.
Which video card do you have in your PC? I wonder whether this problem
is video related. Mine is an Intel(R) 82845G/GL Graphics Controller.
George, the following is a list of my running processes. my CPU usage
is only at 90% at present, but JFW.exe itself is probably the main
culprit. It usually takes about four hours for the CPU usage to reach
100% but I have reached 90% this morning after only about an hour of
use. I would be interested to know if you can glean anything from the
following list.
