Jim, Right click on "Computer" and select Properties. It will tell you there.

Hi George.

Yes jaws 64 bit is installed. I’m not sure which version of windows7 it is, but
it came pre-installed on this machine.

Hi Jim,

You don’t say if you have installed the 64 bit version of JAWS. What version
of Windows 7?

George.

Subject: [jaws-uk] Problem with jaws

Hi list,

I have recently moved over to windows 7 64 bit with an advent computer running
jaws 64 bit. When i cursor up and down lines of text I’m finding that jaws
keeps on speaking the first line and doesn’t stop talking until it gets to the
end of the line then it starts to read the next line and so on. I can’t shut
jaws up with the control key either. Normally jaws would stop talking when you
move off a line of text and start to read the next line but it doesn’t. Is
their some settings in jaws that would rectify this problem or does windows 7
need some tweeking to solve this problem? Any advice would be very much
appreciated as its doing my head in.

Thanks

Jim.
