i think most of jaws users are having the same problem. i posted this
problem a few months ago with no luck, solution, install firefox and no
problem.

A friend of mine can navigate Ebay okay, but when it comes to making
payment (using Paypal), he gets as far as the final "confirm payment"
screen, at which point things go pear-shaped. Borrowing a pair of eyes,
he's discovered that the icon, which indicates success by a hand coming
out, appears to start working, but then the hand disappears. What's more,
if a mouse user tries it subsequently, it still fails, but if the mouse
user tries it from scratch (ie without JAWS having been there first), it
works.
He's tried with both JAWS 7/IE 6, and JAWS 9/IE 7 - same result.
