Hi Joan,
You don't need to physically print the document.
As you've got Kurzweil, instead of printing the document to your printer,
just scroll down on the list of printers to find the item called something
like "KESI Virtual Printer". When you start that print, it will scan the
document automatically to Kurzweil and you have saved a load of time and a
load of paper.
Job done!!

I like your idea of saving the document in text format. Hadn't thought of
that I have to admit!
I did take the print option and then scanned the document into Kurzweil
which worked well. The text document would save bothering with printing
though.

Hello Joan,
I sometimes find Adobe wont read the PDF document.
So what I do is, once I have opened the document I go into the menu bar and
save it as a text file and then you can read it from my documents.
It comes up in Note Pad.
Also, even though JAWS wont read the document, I can print it off from my
printer.
