Dorothy,

That should be easy. Go to the Menu bar and open the View pull down menu 
(Alt V will take you there(. Find the Current View submenu and open it by 
the right arrow button. Now cursor down to the Group Messages By 
Conversation item at the bottom of the list and un tick it. Things should be 
back to normal now. Sorry I don't know why OE has grouped messages by 
conversation by itself.
