Glad I could help with that. Your first challenge has been answered by the
folks on the group and the instructions are bang on!
Now for the challenge you are facing with the sent items. Instructions
below:
To configure Outlook Express to save a copy of your messages in the Sent
Items folder, follow these steps:
1.Start Outlook Express.
2.On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Send tab.
3.Click to select the Save copy of sent messages in the Sent Items folder
check box.
4.Click Apply, and then click OK.

Thank you for your instructions!...
I am now able to open the tools menu and delete all messages from the delete
box.
However, I am now getting the words collapsed and expanded coming up with
some e-mails.
How do I get rid of this!...
Also, as from last evening, outgoing messages aren't showing up in the sent
box.
although they are getting to their destination!...
I am very grateful for your help with my old OE!...
